Arrocito

Located east of the central Tangolunda region, Arrocito beach offers 300 feet of beachfront and a safe swimming area with small waves and shallower depths. In short, this area provides access to the best ocean swimming conditions in Huatulco.

When coming upon this beach, you wouldn't even realize it was there were it not for the steps leading down to the beachfront. After taking the steps down to the beachfront, you'll come across a beautiful and secluded spot perfect for a romantic beach day or family day in the sun.

While lying on the beach, you'll hear the roaring waves breaking against the rocky outcroppings further out, which is what creates the break and brings in calm waters to the protected cove.

If you do wish to snorkel, you can swim out to the mouth of the cove to find a coral reef with plenty of ocean life for you to observe.

TIP: if you head out to this beach early in the morning, you will likely be the only ones there and can enjoy some peaceful solitude all to yourself!
